One of the client's customers was looking to enhance the productivity of their development teams across several areas. They wanted to improve documentation coverage for their Enterprise Architecture tool components and company-wide processes, and sought greater visibility into application data, including usage and cost management insights. At the same time, the customer aimed to make it easier for their teams to navigate and retrieve relevant information from an extensive knowledge base, enabling faster and more effective day-to-day workflows.
N-iX helped the client develop several applications using Azure AI Foundry to streamline operations and analytics within the client's comprehensive Enterprise Architecture tool. These applications automated the generation of descriptions for back-end applications and services, as well as for company-wide processes, significantly enriching documentation coverage across the platform. The applications also enabled automatic detection of which applications are used in which company processes and could generate data-driven charts on demand in response to user requests, providing teams with immediate visibility into application data.
In parallel, N-iX developed an AI assistant following the Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) approach, built on Azure AI Foundry and AI Search. The assistant was designed to help the development team efficiently locate relevant details in the extensive knowledge base, putting the right information at their fingertips without time-consuming manual searches.
