N-iX, a leading European software development service company, has been selected as a Finalist in the BCS & Computing UK IT Industry Awards 2021 in the Organizational Excellence section: Services Company of the Year. The award aims to recognize companies that have contributed to the development and deployment of innovative IT systems that improve business operations or enhance public services during the past 12 months.

N-iX has been providing software development services since 2002, partnering with companies from the UK and beyond. The company has built a strong expertise in financial technology and has become a strategic partner for Currencycloud - the UK fintech leader. Also, it has established a lasting partnership with Lebara - Europe's fastest-growing telecom and worked on a number of tech solutions for PrettyLittleThing - a successful UK fashion retailer. In 2021, N-iX surpassed 1,500 specialists, strengthened its existing partnerships, and started working with dozens of new clients in manufacturing, fintech, telecom, supply chain, retail, and more.

The growing demand for software engineering services has created a significant tech talent shortage across the globe, and at the same time, increased expectations for organizational and service excellence. During the last year, we at N-iX have dedicated a lot of effort into expanding our service offering, focused greatly on our cloud and data analytics expertise, refined our processes and organizational structure, and strengthened our recruitment capabilities - all to better serve our customers. So we are especially proud to be shortlisted as a Services Company of the Year in the BCS & Computing UK IT Industry Awards 2021, comments Pavlo Deshchynskyy, N-iX Chief Operating Officer.

Winners at the UK IT Industry Awards are chosen by a panel of judges drawn from the list of sponsors. All judging is done 1-2-1 by multiple panels of IT leaders that are stringently independent. Instead of reading the work of marketing teams, these judges question IT professionals themselves and mark them as peers. As a result, winners are celebrated for genuine success.

The participants were assessed based on four key criteria:

  • Professionalism: consistently meeting or exceeding challenging objectives to ensure the successful use of IT and demonstrating a quality approach through organizational values and working practices;
  • Excellence: evidence of meeting or exceeding the requirements and expectations of the customers;
  • Innovation: using innovative approaches or technologies to enhance the organization;
  • Measurable success: the ability to demonstrate quantifiable performance improvements for the organization by achieving critical objectives and successful delivery of IT systems.
