Mobile app development to streamline communication for motorcycle Bluetooth headsets

The client needed to build Android and iOS native applications to streamline the operation of their Bluetooth headsets for motorcycle helmets. They also wanted to enhance their services by ensuring seamless communication between multiple riders with an effective bike-to-bike intercom system.

N-iX has helped the client develop native Android and iOS applications (including the backend) for Bluetooth headsets from scratch. This included the design, development, testing, and delivery of these solutions. We added RSSI tracking to enhance the Over-the-air (OTA) user experience. We also introduced a DMC intercom mode for multi-party intercom calls over a virtual private network that supports up to 15 riders. N-iX engineers have enabled the communication of 5+ users at a distance of up to 8 km. To streamline the user experience, we have implemented Voice Command for hands-free operation and enabled OTA firmware updates without using USB or desktop applications.

Additionally, we have conducted successful POCs for collecting data from various sensors (accelerometer, GPS, VoIP, gyroscope, etc.) to enhance the client’s customer product analytics capabilities.

N-iX helped the client develop native Android and iOS applications and add multiple useful features. As a result of our cooperation, the client has benefited in several ways:
