N-iX Ltd, a global software solutions and engineering services company, has officially joined the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi), committing to set science-based near-term targets to reduce company-wide greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions.

By aligning with the SBTi, N-iX takes an important step toward climate action rooted in science, reinforcing its commitment to responsible business practices and environmental stewardship.

The Science Based Targets initiative is a global body enabling businesses and financial institutions to take ambitious climate action by setting science-based emissions reduction targets. These targets are consistent with what the latest climate science deems necessary to meet the goals of the Paris Agreement and limit global warming to 1.5°C above pre-industrial levels.

As a technology company with a global footprint, we recognize our responsibility to act decisively. Aligning with the SBTi allows us to ground our sustainability efforts in climate science and contribute meaningfully to the global efforts.

Earlier, N-iX Nordic AB – the company’s Nordic branch – announced its participation in the Science Based Targets initiative, marking the first step in N-iX’s broader climate action journey.
