Andrew Pavliv has participated in Innovation Breakthrough 2010 round-table within the framework of Ukrainian innovation contest 2010 on  September 22, 2010 in Lviv.


LVIV, Ukraine – September 29, 2010 – Andrew Pavliv, Vice President of N-iX, Ukrainian IT outsourcing provider of software solutions and engineering services, participated at Innovation Breakthrough 2010 round-table discussion within the framework of Ukrainian innovation contest on September 22, 2010 in Lviv.

“Innovation Breakthrough” is a project aimed to develop technological business in Ukraine. Innovation contest is designed to bring to light scientists of a great potential and put their projects into life. The event has to join scientists and their great ideas with investors in the name of Ukrainian innovation breakthrough. Conferences and round-table discussions within the event are going to be held in Lviv, Kyiv, Kherson, Dnipropetrovsk, and Kharkiv.

Round-table discussion in Lviv was held on a topic “Potential of Ukrainian science in the context of today’s global problems solving”. Speakers examined such issues as “Ukrainian role in world’s innovation process”, “Practice of start-ups building in Silicon Valley. Pitfalls of investment process”, “Investment attractiveness of Ukrainian Science”, “Science as a business: problems and ways of solving”.

Andrew Pavliv dwelled on innovations’ breakthrough in next 5-10 years issue. “Next 5 – 10 years have a good chance to become a period of Ukrainian innovative companies establishment on conditions that the level of living standards will improve substantially. The main problem of innovative sector is scientists’ immigration in search for a better life”, - observed Andrew Pavliv in his speech.

It is obvious that such round-table discussions within the Innovation Breakthrough contest will light up most painful problems within Ukrainian innovative sector and will offer a range of solutions.
