Senior Lotus Notes/Domino Developer

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience as a server/client side developer;

Senior ASP.NET developer to Manodo Team

N-iX (www.n-ix.com), leading software development company in Lviv, opens new vacancy for ASP.NET developer in our long-term dedicated team. You will take part in developing of software product for our Swedish customer – Manodo AB.

Manodo business concept is to provide products, systems and services that enable property owners and residents to reduce energy consumption, improve communications and increase security. Company provides services and products in the field of energy for smart houses. This offer covers everything from digital controllers via systems for monitoring, and automated meter reading to advanced software that analyses the use of energy and helps you find the "hotspots" that consumes the most energy. Working in a team of real, you will contribute significantly to the development of a big software product.

Main responsibilities:

  • Developing and coding custom web-based application using the .NET framework (C#), and MS SQL Server 2005/2008 on the back-end;
  • Developing and coding Silverlight application using PRISM Framework;
  • Moving existing web-application to Silverlight or HTML5

Applicant should know /poses:

  • 3+ years of ASP.Net and C# website development (Web Forms);
  • Strong experience with front-end web development tools, including JavaScript, Microsoft AJAX Library, CSS and HTML;
  • Strong knowledge of WCF and ASMX Web Services, MS SQL Server 2005/2008;
  • Good knowledge of Entity Framework, Silverlight 4, PRISM Framework;

Senior Linux System Administrator

N-iX opens new vacancy for talented system level developer/system administrator to be involved into development of predictive tools based on Web.

Recorded Future - a browser-based analytic tool for the exploration and visualization of the web. This enables analysis of events expected to take place in the future as well as a more efficient and comprehensive understanding of past occurrences.

To work with development team in Sweden we invite professional in Linux systems to ensure integration between application/software engineering and system administration/infrastructure.

Requirements:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; capable of writing purchase justifications, training users in complex topics, writing documentation and guides, cooperation with customer’s SAs, and interacting positively with upper management;
  • Independent problem-solving and self-direction;
  • Comfortable with most aspects of operating system administration;
  • Has solid understanding of a Linux operating system. Understands paging and swapping, inter-process communication, filesystem concepts;
  • Familiarity with fundamental networking/distributed computing environments concepts; can configure NFS and LDAP, NT/AD domains, DNS/DHCP, VPN, understands basic routing concepts;
  • Extensive experience with Linux and Windows operating systems;
  • Programming experience in an administrative language (Ruby, Tk, Perl, bash);
  • Able to communicate verbally in English (intermediate strong level)
