“Golden Byte” – is an open non-commercial project, established for young people which are keen on IT technologies. This year topic of the contest was “Ukraine in 2020 through the eyes of a new generation.” The championship has taken place in three stages: online selection, regional finals, which have passed in 13 regions, and nationwide finals. Last year nationwide finals were held in Kiev and this year – in Lviv, where more than 200 finalists were present.

In general the contest has gathered more than five thousand people from all over Ukraine at the age of 15 to 35 and has become the largest IT championship in Eastern Europe.

The “Golden Byte” contest is supported by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, as well as by leading domestic IT companies and organizations. “This year N-iX company has supported the “Golden Byte” contest because we are interested in talented and interested in IT innovations young people. And what is more – supporting such events we participate in nurturing the intellectual potential of our country”, - pointed out the Vice President of N-iX Dmitry Kosaryev.
