N-iX will host seminar on tech business essentials from Denis Dovgopoliy. It will take place in Lviv on June 17th.
Seminar attendees will get known about history of a tech business as well as sources of Silicon Valley. Main “rules of play”, stages of start-up’s life, kinds of investors, mechanisms of venture funds’ work will be highlighted. Process of investments involvement will be examined at a practical part on a case study.
As a result seminar attendees will be able to build their start-ups more effectively and will manage to successfully communicate with investors.
Lviv Outsourcing Forum II will be conducted on a topic “Growth
Problems of Outsourcing Companies”. It is relevant as today’s Ukrainian IT
market is growing rapidly – from 8 000 to 14 400 IT employees during last seven
years. But only 20% of companies have 50 and more employees that indicates a
growing number of small enterprises. So the main goal of the Forum is to
outline problems that companies experience while growing and how to avoid them.
Annual Engineering Job Fair has taken place in Lviv on April 28-29. Such companies as N-iX, GlobalLogic, SoftServe, Intellias, Ernst & Young, PricewaterhouseCoopers, Yazaki and others were presented on this greatest event aimed to help students in their job searching.
First lecture supported by Lviv IT-BPO Cluster has taken place at Ivan Franko National University of Lviv on April 21, 2010. Speaker, Dmitry Kosaryev, the Vice President of N-iX, software development company, introduced material about the leading project management framework Scrum to students’ audience.
